Here are a few things that I have thrown into the phone since I slapped Android 2.1 onto it while patiently waiting for 2.2 to be released:

New kernel with multitouch drivers
Faster GPS search fix
Swype keyboard 1.60
LauncherPro Plus (and the relevant widgets)

Hopefully when the next update I’d available I’ll be sporting a relatively more efficient operating system

Five weeks of Trail Mix is over! Sometimes I wish there was still more Trail Mix to be done, considering we are approaching our final week for this year, and many individuals will be dearly missed (both in children and in staff). But here’s to making the final week a smashing success!

Ten years ago when I was swinging my Yomega firestorm like I was king of the world and nothing could stop me, I did not imagine that ten years later I would once again dive back into the realm of Yo-Yos. These goshdarn things do make you feel like a child, and that Eiffel tower looks as lopsided as it did when it was first molded with my 12 year old hands.

Updates Galore

I’ve been visiting my own blog usually with something to add, but lately I’ve been trying to hold reservation on easily criticizing how things are, are done, are made, (and etc). Since my last post though I have indeed moved my computer parts into the HAF932 case that sacked my wallet a good one. Pictures are to come, but most of you have seen the behemoth of a case in person any way, so you clearly got the best shot of it.

World of Warcraft
Yes, I did in fact begin to play World of Warcraft, and I did buy both the first and second expansions to accompany the game. No, I don’t think I’m at a level of any real addiction yet (in reference, I probably play this less than I would play Modern Warfare 2) and it’s fun when you are playing with friends you know (in real life, that is). I’m still not sure how anyone can play this game non-stop for days on, but I’ve been told that sort of activity doesn’t kick in until at least lvl 80, and I’ve only brought two toons up to lvl 31. Who knows?

Android 2.1
Yes, this is much better than running android 1.5. For starters, the camera apk is a little bit more user friendly now that I can actually zoom into take pictures, and I am in possession of some very basic functions which weren’t seen before. System runs a lot more smoother, and if only the contact pictures would show up properly when dialing, I would have no complaints about it.

Magic 2011
Good news and bad news for vampire decks. The good news is that they are completely playable (in my opinion, anyway) but the bad news is that the likes of Vampire Nocturnus is definitely not going to be seen once M10 is cycled out in Oct/Nov whenever that cycling. White weenie also loses Captain of The Watch, but I’m told that no one really plays them M10 soldiers anymore, so I guess that’s not as big as say, if suddenly they lost Honor of the Pure (that would hurt a lot).

PS3 + 640GB
Simple upgrade, and the consequence is that I have a crap load of extra space. It remains to see what I will do with said space, but I probably will never run out until games are 100GB a piece.
