I think it’s due time that I actually go. There’s nothing like 4 rounds of Swiss to truly test this! Also, I am still looking for diabolic tutor sleeves.
-edit-
So for those of you who have absolutely no idea what I just said, recently I’ve picked up Magic: The Gathering as a (rather expensive) hobby again. For a while now I’ve been building and tweaking decks to take them to competitive play. Constructed play happens to land on Sundays at Dolly’s (name of the store, location is pretty irrelevant). But the significance is that now that my decks are rather viable at a competitive level, I’ll be taking them to actual competitions (for the sake of winning, and perhaps making use of my DCI ratings a year from now, when Grand Prix 2010 will end up in Toronto, Ontario).
For those of you who do know what I am talking about, I’ll be taking a shot first with a BU control mill deck. Yeah, you might be wondering why I don’t play any W in this deck. It’s simply because I don’t want to run 3 colors, and I definitely want to be running mind funerals.
Two other viable decks that I will run in later weeks include both a mono white soldier deck as well as a vampire combo deck (life loss + sanguine bond ftw). These two decks are probably slightly more consistent than the BU mill, so that is why I will be testing it first in a competitive environment.
