In My Haste

I bought the cheapest NIC I could find on ncix, knowing there was a high possibility I wouldn’t actually need it once my room went through some redecorating, as I have a live feed going into my room. Since it was backordered+express shipped, I’ve discovered two fancypants things about it:

1) XLink Xai
2) Software AP

XLink Xai I have heard of, but have never bothered using to any useful extent since I don’t have any hardware that truly utilizes it (except the PSP, but I play GoW on that). The latter comes at a surprise. Perhaps it has been longer than I’ve come to speculate, but since when do NICs have software APs built in?!
